All team members that join diva are welcomed by an induction. This includes meeting with your Regional Manager and receiving your log in details to our exciting and interactive online learning platform - diva iQ.
All team members that join complete a training checklist with their Manager and a set of training modules through diva iQ.These will give you all the skills you require to confidently work in a diva store.
Some of the topics include: store security, selling skills, POS (Point of Sale) basics and product knowledge. Our Managers and Assistant managers go on to complete further training modules including: stock management, leading a Team and performance enhancement skills.
For the career minded team member, we have opportunities to develop your skills and retail knowledge by participating in a Traineeship Certificate Program. At no expense to yourself, diva will pay for our employees to study in store and complete a Nationally recognised qualification! *Terms and conditions apply.

How do I apply for a job at diva?
The only way that we accept applications to work for diva is through an online application via the ‘Careers' page of our website. Visit the page and you will find all of our available roles listed. Select your State from the drop down menu. The suburbs where diva stores are located within that State will then be available to select in the ‘Suburb' drop down menu. Click on the role you are interested in to read more and apply. You will need to create an account with our careers page to apply.
Why doesn't my careers page log in work?
You need to create an account with our careers page. This is different to the account with our online store, if you have one.
Why does the careers page not load up correctly for me?
Our website should be accessible from all types of devices ie computer, laptops, mobiles etc. If you are experiencing any difficulties, please try these handy tips:
- Access our website using either Google Chrome or Firefox. These internet browsers are most compatible with our website
- If you are using a mobile or ipad, try again from a computer or laptop

Do I have to submit a video application?
We would love each applicant to submit a 2 minute video to tell us why you would like to work with us and about your customer service experience. This means a quicker recruitment process for us, as well as for you! Submitting a video means you don't need to provide a cover letter. Please note that while you are not required to submit a video, applications that include a video will be given priority
Do I have to submit a resume?
Our application form and your video will give us all the information that we need to review your application and so a resume is not required. You can still submit one if you wish.
Why won't my video upload?
Due to size restrictions, we can only accept video files up to 100MB and specific file types. The following file types are compatible and will be accepted: WMV, FLV, MP4, MPG, MPEG, AVI, MOV. If you find that your video is an incompatible file type or is larger than the accepted size, please either re-record or compress the file by using a converting/compressing program. These programs are available free online or as a mobile app. Some examples to use are: "Any Video Converter" (available online and free to download) or "Video Compressor" (free app available on iphones).
How old do I have to be work for diva?
This depends on where you live. The average age to start work is 15 years but each state and territory has different legislation governing minimum working age. For more information please contact your state or territory industrial relations office.
What if "no vacancies" are listed for my preferred store?
You can apply for an ‘expression of interest' role in your State. You will be able to select the stores you are interested in and your application will be kept for 2 months and reviewed if a role becomes available.
Can I do work experience at diva or undertake work placement as a part of my studies?
Unfortunately diva does not participate in work experience programmes or work placement programmes at the present time.
What if I am not an Australianor New Zealand resident?
To work at diva you must have the right to legally work in Australia or New Zealand. If you are a visitor to Australia or New Zealand you must hold a valid visa permitting you to work. You will be required to provide proof that you are able to legally work without restriction.
How come I have not heard back?
